A.M. Juster

A.M. Juster is the author of three books of poetry and translation, including Longing for Laura (Birch Brook Press 2001), The Secret Language of Women (University of Evansville Press 2003), and Horace’s Satires (University of Pennsylvania Press 2008).

Rachel Hadas selected The Secret Language of Women for the 2002 Richard Wilbur Award. He is a three-time winner of the Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award sponsored by The Formalist, and his work has appeared in The Paris Review, Southwest Review, North American Review, First Things, Barrow Street, Michigan Quarterly Review and other journals. He has been a fellow at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, a featured poet in Light, and a Poet-of-the-Month for the American Academy of Poets. He has taught formal poetry at Emerson College and was the first moderator at Eratosphere, the oldest online workshop focusing on formal poetry.
